Community Development

At Friendship House we see ourselves as part of a web of valuable community relationships.

Where we can, and when we’re asked we provide:

• Mentoring for groups, staff, managers and boards

• A venue for meeting

• Forums for discussion

• A focus for community activities and a safe and welcoming space

• Two monthly community networking meetings with other local government and NGO groups

• We identify gaps in current services and promote community cohesion
